Natural Manuka Honey Extracted from Wild Flowers
This Manuka honey is sourced from the flowers of naturally grown Manuka trees, free from chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Manuka, a type of tea tree, has been used for centuries as a natural remedy for sore throats, coughs, and burns, and its strong antibacterial and antimicrobial properties have recently gained significant attention.
Manuka honey is said to have approximately 100 times the antibacterial potency of regular honey. Its rich, thick flavor and unique, bold taste have won it a loyal fan base.
About Manuka
Manuka is a shrub that grows wild in certain parts of New Zealand, producing small white flowers in summer.
Mountain Valley's Manuka honey is harvested in an unspoiled natural environment, surrounded by the sea and inlets, with no houses or farms nearby.
Note: The consistency of the honey may vary by harvest year, with some batches becoming more solid than others. Please understand this as a natural variation.

About Mountain Valley Beekeeping
Mountain Valley is a small family-run beekeeping operation located at the northernmost tip of New Zealand’s South Island, in Mount Richmond Forest Park.
The father, Mary, manages the hives and bees, while the mother, Nikki, handles the bottling process.
"Good honey requires the perfect environment, healthy bees, and weather. Other than that, it's best to leave it as natural as possible," Mary says.
Their honey is delivered in its purest form without high-heat processing or filtration, preserving the natural flavor, aroma, minerals, amino acids, and enzymes.
The particles visible in the honey are natural beeswax, which is safe to eat.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long can honey be stored?
Honey is known as a natural preservative and generally does not spoil. However, essential amino acids in honey begin to decrease after four years, so we recommend consuming it within four years of the harvest date.
Why does the honey’s texture and taste vary?
Factors like local weather conditions, flower blooming status, and storage temperature can affect the flavor and texture of honey. Naturally processed honey is alive, and its variations are part of the gift of nature. Rest assured, you can enjoy it with confidence.
What’s the difference between Mountain Valley's two types of honey?
▼Mountain Valley Manuka Honey (500g):
