Pestides-free・non chemical fertilizer cultivation tea making by「Sakuranoen」from the Kumamoto Prefecture, roasted green tea [Ichifuku Houjicha].The tea leaves have been brought up under the sunlight without using any chemical fertilizers or pesticides.It is called shuutoubancha or“Autumn / Winter flush”, grew up in the summer, then the matured tea leaves that became sweeter were picked up in the cold of autumn / winter, and roasted till reddish color. Notable fragrant with gentle flavor, a tea that induce relaxation. It is sweet, hence serve it hot. Even cold, as a barley tea, it is delicious.

In the land of nature-rich Minamata

Sakuranoen is located in Minamata City, Kumamoto Prefecture, surrounded by nature. Since the opening of the 2nd year of Showa era, it has been handed down to the present generation that continued to value the traditional native blend. With the idea that tea will be a blissful connection between people, the tea making has been handled consciencetiously by a tea making family.

Ichifuku Houjicha is cultivated in tea plantation of Sakuranoen without using any pesticide and chemical fertilizer. It is a cultivation method that is practiced from the idea that nature and human body need to become accustomed to each other.
 

Roasted green tea made with sweetened flavor of autumn / winter flush

Ichifuku Hojicha is an autumn-winter bancha made through roasting. Autumn / winter bancha is a tea that has been picked from the end of October to November when it has been exposed to the sun in summer and matured and sweetened in the early winter. Then is was roasted until red and become a roasted tea (houjicha). Does it contain sugar? People can taste the sweetness till the point they asked this kind of question. Even as a barley tea, you can enjoy it deliciously. Ichifuku Hojicha, made with care by human hands, without the use of pesticides nor chemical fertilizers. How to make delicious "Ichifuku Houjicha"

 Amount of tea leaves: 1 teaspoon of large teaspoon (3 g) Hot water volume: 100 cc to 150 cc of hot water per cup Steaming time: 1st cup / 20 sec second cup / third cup / 10 - 15 sec [When taking out with water] Place hot water soaked with tea leaves, immediately add water for 1 to 2 minutes
